March 22nd, 2018 by

Your Mercedes-Benz onboard GPS automatically sets your clock to the precise time, except when Daylight Saving Time begins and ends. This, of course, means twice per year you must perform a manual Mercedes-Benz clock setting. Thankfully, resetting your Mercedes-Benz clock after Daylight Savings Time is simple and quick enough to take care of the next time you’re sitting in your car in Lodi and have a spare moment to take advantage of! Learn how it’s done with Mercedes-Benz of Stockton in the step-by-step guide below!

Step-by-Step Instructions for Mercedes-Benz Clock Setting

If you’re reading this a few days after Daylight Saving Time after already went into effect, we’d hope you’ve already updated your Mercedes-Benz clock! But just in case, here’s a simple how-to on “springing forward” or “falling behind.” Whether you need to change the time on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or any other model, the steps are the same:

  1. Using the central control pad or knob, scroll and select the Vehicle Menu from the Command System display screen
  2. From the Vehicle Menu, scroll down to select the “Time” sub-menu
  3. Once the Time sub-menu is selected, scroll down and select “Day Light Saving Time”; from there, either turn Daylight Saving Time “On” or “Off”
  4. Note: Turn Daylight Saving Time “On” to spring forward and “Off” to fall back
